The Living Land was very nearly knocked out of the Possibility Wars after crushing defeats on the part of Storm Knights and the death of its High Lord in the Blitz. However, there is still some fight left in the followers of Lanala yet!
All that remains of this proud realm is one monolith area in central Africa, where it has become a thorn in the side of Wu Han. Otherwise, it remains much the same as when it first entered the scene in 1990.

The Living Land since the Possibility Wars During the Blitz, when the Storm Knights stormed the Markesan castle, among the High Lords killed was Baruk Kaah. His death proved the last straw in this already difficult to control cosm. His followers broke down into civil war and any thoughts of invasion collapsed.
That is, until Ka Heser'Kil.
Ka Heser'Kil was a powerful warrior, and the founder of the "Head Eaters," a clan comprised of the most vicious of Baruk Kaah's followers. Over the next few years, he built an empire on Takta Ker's Eastern Continent, in a volcanic valley, and soon his army was huge. He was contacted by The Gaunt Man a couple of years into the Late Possibility Wars, and told how to use Monoliths to build a small realm and re-join his war. Ka Heser'Kil jumped at the chance, and thus the Living Land reentered the scene.
The Ka chose to invade central Africa after his spies told him it was similar to home and populated by a large number of agricultural, peaceful peoples. He did not understand that Living Land reality would change the Terran landscape, and so his tiny realm is far from the central action of the war, in Europe and America.
The High Lord, Ka Heser'Kil
Note: this section is incomplete. More details will be added later.
Ka Heser'Kil is a powerful, massive edeinos. He is easily one of the largest in all of Takta Ker. He is ruthless and merciless, persecuting all other edeinos who refuse to adapt the wicked views of the Head Eaters.
On the cosm, his capitol is a massive stone structure in a volcanic valley, surrounded by an intricate network of chasms. He also has cities in the surrounding areas for thousands of miles which are under his power.
The Clan of the Head Eaters
Note: this section is incomplete.
The Clan got its name from a practice started by Ka Heser'Kil himself while a soldier in Baruk Kaah's armies. He and his associated began a bloody ritual of eating the faces and heads of their victims, preferably in front of their still-living friends and family. Once he became Ka, he adapted this into a virtual religion of its own, claiming it is the will of Lanala, and that it is part of the re-use of natural resources, when confronted on the subject. Which, these days, is never.

The World of Takta Ker
Note: this section is incomplete.
The home world, the cosm, of Takta Ker was never discussed much in the WEG Living Land book. We have created a world which is not very detailed, but can serve as a framework for adventures there.
First, the world is much like Earth in that it has large oceans, but which cover about 50% of its surface. There are two main continents: the East Continent (called K'Lanala Keka) and the West Continent (called Ti'Kala.) Strangely, the Mist of Lanala is much more prevalent on the East Continent.
The East Continent is medium-sized, and jagged, forming an irregular shape. Mostly it is covered with jungles, but near the rain shadows of the mountains the jungle dwindles first to forest, then to grasslands. In denser sections there are huge tracts of swampland. Most edeinos live on this continent, and in the eastern half is where Ka Heser'Kil has built his empire. The western half is home to a benevolent nation formed by the kinder edeinos, most of whom never adopted Baruk Kaah's religions fervor.
The West Continent is home to edeinos with even less technology than normal, as astounding as that may be. Stranger still, they live among the complex ruins of a civilization which once ruled all of Takta Ker. The ruins are scattered across this mostly circular continent, but are concentrated near the center and a massive lake. The civilization who built all of this were the precursors to the edeinos, but were closer to humans in appearance. Due to the scarcity of the mist on this continent, some of their artwork and contructions still survive, including the massive capitol. It is unknown, but perhaps the edeinos of today were the result of a mixing of some other creatures, either through magic or technology, leading to the downfall of these peoples. Maybe even the Mists are their creation....
Travelling to the West Continent is nearly impossible -- the oceans abound with creatures ranging from the strange and unpredictable to the massive and vicious. For all practical purposes, the two continents might as well exist on different planets.
Ril'Tlek T'Alak, the Stone Sword of T'Alak:

Running the Living Land in Torg 2000
Due to the fact there is no Darkness Device, and the realm exists on Monolith technology, the Living Land is small. They have invaded the Congo/Zaire region, taking over an area close to the mouth of the Congo. Due to this, the jungles have become even more dangerous and wild, and are populated with Living Land dinosaurs as well as some Terra dinosaurs thought extinct.
The people in the region are mostly animistic, and due to this being Terra, are prone to being built on lost civilizations, treasure hordes, or having particularly savage attitudes. Adventure is the name of the game here, where headhunters mix with Tyrannosaurus Rex.
Some research into central African religions might really spice up adventures here.
